You will become part of the team managing the FNR research funding schemes and you will be in charge of leading evaluations and monitoring activities within several funding schemes, as an expert in the field of the humanities and social sciences. The position demands a high level of interaction with team members and the national and international research community.
Profile
- A PhD in the Humanities or Social Sciences with a demonstrated understanding of interdisciplinary connections.
- A strong interest in emerging trends and developments in the Humanities/Social Sciences and their broader societal relevance.
- Ability to proactively engage with the broad stakeholder community of R&D in Luxembourg.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to different audiences.
- Excellent team player and at ease to work with crosscutting and interactive teams.
- A proactive and well-organized mindset, with a sense of responsibility and initiative.
- Comfort with digital tools and modern technologies, including those used for research, data analysis, and communication.
- Fully proficient in English and German is required, along with operational knowledge of French (minimum level B2). Luxembourgish is considered an advantage.
- Prior experience in a research funding or research policy environment is a strong asset.
