FNR’s Mr Science awarded Lions Club Prize

Joseph Rodesch, science communicator at the FNR, has been bringing science closer to the public as Mr Science for more than 10 years.

On Thursday, 4 November 2021, Joseph Rodesch, aka Mr Science, was awarded the 2021 Lions Club Prize at a ceremony held in Luxembourg City. Joseph Rodesch received the prize to recognise his 10+ years of efforts to bring science closer the public as Mr Science.

Reporting on physics, chemistry, biology and medicine in the RTL show ‘Pisa‘ is not all that Joseph Rodesch, a chemist himself, does on behalf of the FNR. Mr Science also regularly entertains children and young adults in live shows that spark their interest in science. There are whizzes and bangs, steam and sparks, and a whole lot of astonished faces directed at the likeable man with the beard and glasses.
